Make The Adjustment

We learned that our usual worship environment had been completely transformed for a new production, and initially thought we would have to cancel our in-person encounters until the stage returned to its normal blank canvas in mid-September.

That unexpected change forced us to make a decision: allow the disruption to stop us, or make the adjustment and move forward.

In Mark 2:1–5, four men encountered an obstacle while trying to get their friend to Jesus. When the door wasn’t accessible, they didn’t abandon the mission—they made the adjustment.

Life will not always unfold according to plan. Circumstances change, doors close, and unexpected obstacles arise. But an obstacle doesn’t always mean stop; sometimes it means adjust your approach without abandoning the assignment.

This message challenges us to trust God, remain flexible, and keep moving—even when the situation doesn’t look the way we expected.
