Evening Prayer: Changing Our Character

As you listen, pray for God to do heart work—creating a clean heart and renewing a right spirit within you (Psalm 51:10). Ask the Lord to help you guard your heart daily (Proverbs 4:23) and to develop the fruit of the Spirit—especially love, patience, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23). Finally, pray that you would “put on” compassion, humility, forgiveness, and love so your character matches your calling (Colossians 3:12–14).
