Bible Study: Why ME?

Mar 3, 2026    Pastor Chris Dexter

Have you ever asked God, “Why me?” When life takes unexpected turns, relationships betray you, doors close, and hardship seems to follow you, it’s easy to wonder why you’re the one facing the pressure.

In Romans 8:29–31, Paul reveals a powerful truth: those whom God foreknew, He also predestined, called, justified, and glorified. This means our lives are not random. There is a divine process attached to the call of God.

Joseph’s life gives us a living picture of this reality. Though he was chosen, his journey was marked by betrayal, accusation, delay, and prison. Yet every painful season was positioning him for purpose. What looked like rejection was actually preparation.

Joseph wasn’t just surviving hardship—he was being shaped for destiny.

The same question echoes in many of our lives today: Why me? Why this process? Why this pressure? But Romans reminds us that when God is the author of your calling, the process is never wasted.

If God is for you… who can truly stand against you?

Listen as we explore how God uses the process to prepare His chosen ones for a higher purpose.
